The date cast in the bed is 3-21-21. If you look below the chuck in the first picture you can see the date. Which what I understand is the date they can use it on or after for reasons of letting it season. Did they think when she was built back then that she'd still be around 100 years later.
I bought her in the late 1990's from Bradford Electric where I assume she spent most of her life. Helping repair trolley car electric motors in East St. Louis, IL. Bradford opened I think 1923.
