I have an old Walker Turner drill press which I believe to be 20" model the only ID on it is a serial number 2 644 the table is 14" x 18".
Can anyone help to identify the model or year it was manufactured. It is a heavy duty floor standing drill press and weights 300 to 500 pounds.

You will probably get a better response at the Old Wood Working Machines or Vintage Machinery sites. Your same “serial number” was used on a lot of WT drill presses…including mine…

I think that translates to 1944. W-T didn't produce a 20" drill until the model 1100 around 1944. The badge should say Walker-Turner Company Inc Plainfield NJ. Around 1948 Kearney & Trecker purchased W-T and the badges changed to Walker-Turner Division Kearney & Trecker Plainfield NJ. Then around 1956 W-T was sold again to Rockwell and lived on a bit long as Walker-Turner Division, Rockwell Manufacturing Co
