I’m new to this site and have lots of South Bend questions.
I just picked up a nice 1956 engine lathe and bought the build card from Grizzly.
It was filled out fairly sloppy and is kinda hard to read. I want to get the attachments to run 5C collets in the spindle.
The card says it is a TKX model and the serial numbers last 5 digets are TKX 12
The number on the card for the headstock could be either:
VIIT700. Or VIFT700
Any idea what part numbers I would need to run 5C collets in this?
I would rather have the draw bar with a handle instead of the draw bar with the hand wheel. Guessing EBay will be my main option, but I want to be sure to buy the right set up.
