Vertical milling heads - kearney & trecker and cincinnati

I have 2 vertical milling heads for sale. Both are complete with mounting brackets and matching drive gears. Both are damn heavy, I would prefer not to ship. Willing to hold for a while with payment if needed. Located in Chicago. I would like $500 for each.

Before anyone suggests Keith Rucker: I know he was looking for one of these! I offered it to him, he's already found one. So up it goes here

1) Kearney & Trecker swivel head with mount bracket for 3H/2K horizontal mill. 40 taper spindle. comes with matching drive gear, which mounts directly to spindle nose.
Drive gear has a chip out of one tooth, but shouldn't affect function
Mounting bracket has a corner chipped off one clamp piece, should be a straightforward repair.

2) - universal milling head for cincinnati 420-16-20HD mill, with mounting bracket and 50 taper drive gear. This head has the two joints which allow it to be set to any angle. 50 taper spindle. No obvious damage or concerns.

That is a #50 to #40 adapter in one of the heads.

Thanks - I'll need to take another look at it. I didn't appreciate that when it was in front of me, but I haven't had it apart so it's entirely possible!

Hi,

I double checked - pretty sure it's not a 50 to 40 adapter - it's a straight up 40 taper with a collet chuck mounted in the spindle. The spindle nose drive keys are about 5/8"

What is the number of the K&T head?

There's no number on the head.
Serial number on the bracket is 6-5727, which I believe makes it for the 2K/3H, circa 1947.
