This is a veritable Sutton Hoo hoard of Brown & Sharpe No. 30 cam lock tooling. These should fit a B&S #2 mill and the Omniversal, possibly others but it is your responsibility to confirm that these tools will fit your machine. The cam lock system is similar to but not compatible with the larger DeVlieg Flash Change system. Included in here with the #30 tooling is a very handy Cat 40 adapter to mount all of these things in other newer and more ubiquitous machines.

For their age the tools are in decent shape. Some have surface rust or shop goo that should clean up easily. The end mills could use a sharpening but are reasonably sharp as is. The slitting saw is missing a few teeth but will still cut fine.

Honestly I don't know what is a fair price on these. They seem to be selling as individual pieces on Ebay for >$50/ea, but that seems a bit silly. Maybe not? Please let me know if the lot pricing here is reasonable or not.

$600 takes all 24 pieces.
Included with the lot:

11 End Mill Holders
3/16"
3/8". (qty:3). 719-578
1/2" (qty:4) 719-580
1/2", shop modified for long reach w/ 3.5" extension
5/8"
3/4"

3 End Mills

Ø 1.25", 2" long, 6 flute
Ø 1.75", 2.5" long, unknown shallow angle chamfer end

4 Shell Mill Holders
Ø 1/2" arbor #719-302
Ø 3/4" arbor
Ø 1.0" arbor
Ø 1.0" arbor w/ Ø2.5" shell mill attached.

1/2" 20R

719-262-10 w/ Ø4" slitting saw.
31D2

And to make it all these tools play well with other machines in your shop...
1 Cat 40 Cam lock adapter , #719-504

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

Do you still have these kicking around? I have a Cincinnati Mill with the B&S 30 cam system and would be interested in the tooling.

Thanks,

Rody

Rodney, I've got a 1908 W. B Kinight 1 1/2 Jig borer that uses those BS 30 cam lock cutters. May have some I could part with, unless of course, you want the entire machine! Haa

Just let me know if I can help out!!

Thanks Johnny... don't need the whole machine, but am looking for a .500", .750", and 1.00" straight end mill pieces. Thanks! Rody

Sorry about the Rodney! Ha Love that spellcheck. Rody, I'll check that tooling this weekend at my dad's shop and see whats there. I know there's a long boring bar and a 4" dia or bigger HEAVY Fly cutter with the 30 taper arbor in the mix. Johnny
