Looking to sell my Chick 5QL1030 vise. It's a single/double convertible workstation vise, 4" wide and 300mm long. The website for the vise is HERE.
It's a great little vise that just isn't practical for our machining needs. I used it for about 3 months with VERY little machining time (maybe 40 hours total). It's really great for high run parts and setups that are going to be repeated.
Along with the vise itself, I'm selling as follows:
4 Unaltered moving jaws
2 Unaltered single station, stationary jaws
1 Unaltered double station, stationary jaw
2 Altered moving jaws (as pictured)
1 Altered double station, stationary jaw (as pictured)
4 Toe Clamps for the vise
1 Vise wrench
Assorted rubber plugs for the screw holes
Everything listed is in the big picture and everything in the picture is being sold.
The toe clamps and wrench came with the original purchase, as well as one set of jaws (I believe), and the plugs came with every stationary jaw. I figure I'll throw in the jaws I've already machined and not count it as any extra in the cost (it's not like I can use them anymore). All of the jaws are soft jaws (aluminum) so they're easily machinable.
We bought the vise new for around $1200, so with all of the jaws that are added on top I'd like to get somewhere around $900 for the lot. I'm willing to hear any serious offers though. If you have any questions feel free to contact me on Practical Machinist with a PM or a response to this post.
