5NS (no name markings) - 1/16

I pulled these out of a rusty bucket at a salvage place so they were rusty and I have cleaned and de-rusted inside and out using vinegar. They are very usable but they aren't pretty. There is some pitting from the rust.

The taps you had ended up rusty as well as chipped.

The collets may have some value, but you really need some good
pix of what your offering

Here are pics of the collets. You can see they are not all new and shiny per my prior description. I tried getting a close up of the surface but it is hard to capture in a picture. There is some surface pitting. Let me know if you are interested and we can talk price or trade.

Fair point about the pics of the collets, but concerning the taps, they didn't "end up rusty", they started out with some rust as clearly noted in my description but were in usable shape for $5 each. And as soon as I noticed the chips I notified the sender before any money changed hands. All buyers who have received them so far have been happy with them. One guy wantd them to clean up threads on narrow gauge railroad equipment at a museum so they worked perfectly for him.
