$100 plus shipping.

I've got a house and garage with carbide drills and mills...etc. Some are listed on PM. Need to move them

I think your initial high pricing has scared people off.
Granted you've dropped the prices substantially, you only get one shot sometimes.

You are correct. The tooling market in general has always been a tough nut to crack for me. Live and learn.

that's a really cool diffraction effect in the shadow of your dovetail cutter, I'm guessing from a series of overhead LED lights :)

as to value, I've been averaging ~25% of retail for new stuff, ~10% for used. I think I sold a new Iscar 45deg chamfer cutter with 6 new inserts for $67+shipping and tax a month or so ago. Some stuff gets more, some stuff gets less, but those seem to be pretty robust averages. I've had the most success with collections, eg. spiral point and flute taps in all the main SAE sizes from 2-56 to 1/2-20 gets $60-100. It's a lot of work though.

That is cool I never noticed it. It is under a LED light.

From your formula, I need to be in the $75 and lower range on the dovetail and chamfer tools.

Next warm weekend, I need to actually lay things out and organize in lots. I've got carbide drills and mills by the computer, mics and verniers and indicators downstairs....everything else in the garage. Plus hand tools too...

That 15° dovetail cutter is going to be a hard sell. I only know of one thing I've seen with a 75° dovetail and it requires a much smaller diameter cutter. I have a couple of the Dorian ones for 60° dovetails, they are very nice!!! Good luck on the sale. Ken
