2 Ames collets, 5/8" and 1" round. Style unmarked but measure as 1AM. Usable condition but show signs of minor rust pitting and wear. Bores are very smooth. 1" was bored by PO in threaded area leaving threads very thin.
Drawbar has no makers mark but appears very well made. Threads very good condition. Length of tube below shoulder 5.925".

$25 plus medium USPS flat rate.

Hello,

I have an Ames milling machine that is need of a draw bar. It seems that the thread on the arbor is 24 TPI with an OD of 1.125

The length is roughly 6 inches from the rear to the threads on the arbor.

Any thoughts on finding a draw bar for my mill?

Thanks

Given that Dave Sobel's shop no longer exists, your best bet is to manufacture
one on your own. Some tubing, a handle, and the ability to ID thread is all that's
required. Use a thrust bearing.
