FS: "L" Series Spanners
I am putting up a new for sale post for the Torch Cut Spanners I make and sell to PM members. The photos on the old post will no longer be visible since I stopped using the photo sharing site.
I currently sell 4 different sizes but can pretty much custom burn any size or style wrench needed as long as you can use the sizes of material I stock.
I now burn these spanners from both AR400 and A514 (T1) plate. Your wrench could be cut from either depending on what material I have on the torch table at the time. I cut either material in both 3/8" and 5/8" Thick. I make wear plates for Concrete Mixers and cut the wrenches as a side business.
These are some super heavy spanners and are guaranteed for life to any dedicated and active PM member. These spanners are CNC burned and cleaned up nicely. If the torch has some minor blowback I will TIG the spot and grind it smooth. If it's major the spanner goes in the scrap bin.
Current Prices without shipping. Please email me with your shipping address for a quote.
3/8" Plate
L00 - $23.00
L0 - $26.00
5/8" Plate
L1 - $45.00
L2 - $58.00

Looks like a good thing I am a little late.
I recently received an L-00 spanner I purchased from Walter A. It a very nicely made tool. It was a very good internet transaction. I heard mention of his offer. Contacted the first person, got Walter's email. A couple emails back and forth. Deal was done. A week, maybe sooner I received my spanner. It fits and works perfectly.
Very happy with the purchase.
Thank You, Walter.
Also thanks to, Rex who gave me the contact info.
Cheers,
Ron

I just got my L2 wrench from Walter an it is purrrrrdy!
Thank you sir. And at a very fair price to boot.
My old spanner that came with the lathe looked like
a mid-evil weapon of war, burned out by hand by
Stevie Wonder. Finally I have a nice spanner for
my 17" Colchester round head. Thanks again.

Thanks, Walter for the super fast service and fine wrench, indeed.
Providing these wrenches can't be a big money maker for you but is a real service for us buyer/users.

I received the L2 spanner. Very nice! Good sized and weight, fits perfectly. For the price, you can't pass on this deal if you have a L series spindle.
Thanks Walter!

Thanks everyone for the positive comments about our spanners. Making these is a very small but important part of our overall business. As a fab shop owner but Machinist by trade I appreciate being surrounded by nice tools. I make sure that our spanners not only fit good but look good. Although the torch cut is the same great quality of all our cut parts I give the spanners to my oldest machinist to clean up and finish. He knows that many of the owners of these spanners are home machinists who take great pride in their equipment and tools.
I am happy to see that the work we put into this simple product is appreciated.

L0 Spanner
Thanks Walter. I received your spanner (L0 size) the other day and am impressed. It is very well formed, fits perfectly, nicely finished and best of all, I like the length of the handle. I highly recommend these spanners to anyone who needs one for primary use or for a spare.
Keep up the good work.

Everyone that gets one of your wrenches should post a photo of the wrench with their lathe.

I just received an L00 wrench from Walter. Nice solid wrench and good transaction.
I bought the wrench even before I bought the new chuck for the lathe.
