Walter,
I received my L0 spanner wrench when the mail started running again. They stopped bringing the mail because of the cold weather and drastic wind chill temps!!
I am delighted with the new wrench, it is a fine piece of equipment and my Leblond Regal 15" will appreciate it.
I recommend anyone in need of one, have Walter build you one!! You won't be disappointed!

Walter, I received my L2 wrench yesterday and it is one excellent piece! Now I just need to figure out how to apply enough torque to get this stuck chuck off without damaging anything...

Can't say much about avoiding damage except just use a large maul only with caution. Some folks use a wood block under chuck jaws to keep the chuck still then use the spanner to back the nut against the headstock and shock the chuck with a heavy soft maul.
The spanner should be able to take anything you throw at it.
Good luck,
Walter Schultz

When I got my Dual Drive the 3 jaw chuck was stuck.
I managed to get it off before I got one of Walter's spanners by using a large flat chisel on the nut, backing the nut up tight against the headstock, and using a lead hammer to smack the chuck a few times, which eventually broke it free. I laid a wood block across the ways to protect them in case the chuck popped off suddenly, but the nut was still threaded on enough to hold it anyway.
Walters wrench definitely makes it easier though.

Picked up an L0 spanner from Walter for a Dual Drive someone gave me, that I am fixing up. A couple knocks with a big copper hammer and the 3 jaw chuck came right off. Thanks for providing a great tool.

Walter,
Received my LO wrench and it's a work of art. Treated it with ospho and painted it. Looks great and works even better. Thanks for a job well done.

I ordered one of Walter’s L0 wrenches about 2 weeks ago, I received it about a week and a half later, it looks, feels, and works nice!
Thanks, Walter for the prompt service and providing a quality product at a reasonable price!
