Gear cutters for sale 14.5 PA, Sprocket and Bevel cutters

Please ignore my previous for sale post, it was full of errors and misinformation!

All of these cutters will be sold as 14.5 PA, very few of them are marked with the PA. From what I now know about the age and shape of gear cutters I can say fairly confidently that these are 14.5° PA. However there may be some of the smaller cutters that are 20° PA, it is very hard to tell on the small sizes and they are not marked on the cutter! The default with older cutters is 14.5°.

At these prices it would appear to be worth the risk.....as in you would still be getting a useful gear cutter!

So here is the new list minus the four that are already spoken for.

Some cutters are marked CP, some DP and some just P, I can take photo's of any gear and send to you prior to any sale. It was too much info to list them all here.
There are several different manufacturers but the bulk are Butterfield Canada and the rest are American or English.

Double tooth, ( looks like it cuts a complete sprocket tooth in one pass) these are large!

Condition is important and I will take pics for you of all cutters, there are a few that need discounting or worse. Most are in very good condition and some have been sharpened a few times but still very useful.

Most places in the US it works out to about $20 per package, more for the larger cutters of course.

Gear cutters arrived today, Thanks Michael.
Shipping was about $19 but the total cost was about my target price of $22 each.
"International shipping" so it took a little longer even tho Canada is right next door.

As to "involute" and PA - my large collection (too many to count) is at least 98% "involute" and a bare few are marked with PA - ALL of those so marked say 20 degree

Michael, Can you check the 9DP #5 involute cutter to see if it's marked 14-1/2 PA.

Which I am guessing means that unmarked cutters are usually 14.5°.

Sorry, I recently sold the 10P # 6 bevel cutter.

I think I only had one or two 20° cutters that were marked and sold those some time ago.
None of the other cutters I have are marked, except one or two that say 14.5°.
