I wish my spindle mount were D1-6 instead of A1-6. I would jump on that

Damnit I was about to list the same thing. D1-6 and collets from 1/8 to 1 3/8 by 1/16ths.

If by off chance two people want it, I’ve got an identical one for sale.

Are quality 2J collets hard to come by?

Oh no they’re readily available both used and new. However if you want new they’re only made (that I can find) through Hardinge for about $60-$130 /ea depending on internal shape and size.

So a chuck and 23 or so collets (depending on condition) for $430 is a heckin deal.

Still available. I found one more 3/4" collet for the chuck. So, it'll be 18 collets total.
