Hi, i need a rubber seal for my Harrison m300 lathe (304048) its on the thread cutting engagement handle?
I've rang Colchester and they have said its obsolete, can anyone help ?

If it's truly an obsolete custom seal, you're pretty much SOL unless you want to modify some parts.

Otherwise, a little more information would be nice to see if we could cobble something together from things that are available.

So half way through 3D printing an mould to make a simple version of the seal, I got thinking... my motorcycle light has a similar rubber headlamp dust cover.

It’s now on the lathe working well , no oil is leaking and it’s over the full mark so job done

So i couldn't see one but it was the same as this

I just trimmed it .....

2 Pcs Rubber Headlight Cover 70mm Headlight Dust Covers for LED Headlight
link to eBay... https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/174440139744?chn=ps

The service life probably wont be great but ill replace it every 2 months if needed @ £2.00 I'm not worried

I also need this boot seal. I went to the eBay site but that part is no longer listed. Any help would be appreciated
I'm not sure if this will be of help or not. The OP asked for a seal for the thread engagement handle. I am wondering if what you are looking for the boot for the feed engagement lever which are known to fail and leak. If that is the case here is a link to an e-bay seller that has them.

I have purchased and installed this boot on my own M300 and have not had an issue.
