Ingersoll indexable face mills

Ingersoll 5J1E-20r 2 inch 6 insert facemill. I have a full box of inserts and a smaller 1-1/4 4 insert mill with 1 inch shank.

are those common inserts? i don't know. valenite, ingersol, lovejoy lots of turkey facemills that use
proprietary insert shapes . the valenite TEGA comes to mind.... expect to pay $10+ or more if you can find them

I wouldn't call them common, or cheap. They are available though.

ingersoll cutting tools still stocks inerts for this cutter body. its a standard catalog item.

edp 5811344 is a popular grade of insert for these cutters today
