    Default Iscar MAHPL 25.4 External Grooving/Part Off Tool

    Received in a box of stuff I bought. Didnt even know it was in the box. Looks relatively unused. Has a Brand new holder blade installed. Comes with extra screw and Torw Wrench.

    nissan - For those of us, like me, who are not familiar with this particular tool,it might stimulate some interest if we knew more about it, like:

    Shank dimensions ( 1 inch high, presumably) - ditto for the insert width (presumably what you call the "holder blade") and form
    Pic with the insert inserted, or at least next to the opening
    A word about its use with specific regard to the plane of the cutter being at rt angles to the plane of the shank

    Thats the thing I dont know exactly what its used for. I didnt buy this intentionally. It came with a bunch of other stuff I did buy. But yes its 1" shank and it looks to be a right angle tool for doing some odd face grooving. The inserts range in what can be used but from my experience its 1/8" iscar cutoff and radius groove inserts.
