Hello,
I am by no means a machinist so forgive me if this question is easy to solve. I have a 3ph 480V metal lathe that I am attempting to use an 18mm drill bit in the tailstock. My current tailstock drill chuck adapter can only hold 1/2" and the shank of my 18mm bit is about 0.73". Attached are pictures of the adapter which is only labeled MK4. Also attached are pictures of the lathe and tailstock, sorry my tailstock does not have a part or model number stamped on it. I have looked up and down through amazon, MSC, Grainger, Fastenal, and ebay for this type of adapter and haven't found anything that looks like it would work. I think I can get away with a collet style holder for the workpiece as well, so a set of collets with the tailstock adapter would work too.
Thanks in advance for any help provided.
