If this is a 16C (18 1/2" swing) i could use the cast bracket that supports lead screw, drive rod and clutch rod on the tailstock end.

Taper attachment pulled. That was nasty.

Did the apron gears come apart like in post 4 of this other thread on a cy?
It kind of looks like the gear for the bed rack is cut on the end of the shaft, with the nut on the front?

Well, the one I have won't work either. It's for 2 TPI leadscrew. It's also been busted and re-brazed, and is locked up.
I didn't get a chance to go through and measure the steadies. Dad said he did so and made a list, but IDK if I trust his numbers entirely. I might have that info by this weekend.

A two TPI leadscrew? Holy crap. What was the machine for, cutting corkscrews?
But I appreciate your looking. As I said, I have one I'd bought here earlier, I'll just have to cut a new gear and re-stamp the dial face.
No rush on the steadies, whenever you have the chance.
