Can’t tell where it was made, or by whom.
Includes all the bits & bobs in the photos.
Has some gas ration coupons from WW 2
Some interesting pencil writings on the edges of a couple drawers detailing where the owner of the box worked, and dates.
Could probably be made nice again.
Again,
FREE!!!!!

I have a rough Gestner just like that with a bunch of toolmaker stuff in it from 1943. Mine went through a flood (still wet when I got it), but everything cleaned up nice. I got it in trade for installing $75 of CV shafts in a guys car. One of the most useful things I have ever bought. I'm always digging through it looking for some little ground tidbit or indicator attachment. There's a bit of everything in there.

Sure looks like my Gerstner. Look for their name on the latch. Still a decent box, just ugly. I could name a few other things like that in my shop, some animate. :D

Greg,

If it's still availible I'd like to pick it up. I'm up in La Habra

(pm sent as well)

Greg,

I think I gots to back out, I don't really need another box, plus my thought was to restore it and give it to a friend, realistically that's likely never going to happen, as I'm not even getting around to my must do list (bathrooms/kitchen/backyard etc)

Think of it as a Christmas present for your friend, dont be a grinch, go get the box;)

Well, no follow through.
Still available.

You may have to put a case of beer under it or a bag of pot in it, tools are getting hard to give away.

I ended up hauling 75lbs of micrometers, gauge pins and such from Ca to Idaho so I could give them to the high school shop teacher.

I'm in Orange and interested, but can't figure out how to send a private message on my mobile.
You can email me at:

Thanks
