Well I had to find and buy a parts lathe to get the parts I needed to get my TUG40 lathe up and running.

No accessories, like taper attachment or steady rest for sale.
Really a complete lathe but minus a few parts I needed that were very expensive from Toolmex or unavailable.
Most everything but the ways, like gears, shafts etc look in great shape.

Still picking away at it.

The following are now sold or gone.

Cross slide
Feedbox covers and levers
Bed and pedestals

Still have the complete headstock, complete apron and all the feedbox shafts and gears.

Does it have the change gear set with 94t, 47t, 32t? I have a 1980 PolAmCo that did not come with that set, so I cant thread 24 tpi. PITA

Did you not read the OP's instructions? PM HIM OR ELSE:angry:

Hey I know there are plenty of guys like you that don't produce much of anything so they have plenty of time to put their 2 unwanted cents in every ad posting to idle away the hours.

I am just trying to not clog up the For Sale section with a bunch of jackassery, turning it into another chat section. As futile as that may be.

Looks like it’s been a while since you last talked about this, do you still have parts? I see you got rid of the motor pulley, what about the bigger top pulley?

I still have the late model spindle pulley and the short spindle it mounts on.
However I believe you have the early model which is different, as in the pulley mounts directly to the shaft.

Here is an update on what is sold, no longer available or scrapped.
Tailstock
Compound
5 groove motor pulley
Crossfeed screw/dial/handle assembly
Oil pump
Cross slide assembly
Feedbox covers and levers
Bed and pedestals
All die cast labels
Input shaft (late model) and related shift linkage
About 1/3 of the apron gears and shafts are sold

So basically 90% of the headstock shafts and gears, all the feedbox gears and shafts, and 2/3 of the apron gears and shafts are still available.

All the headstock levers, most of the apron levers/handles are available.

All 3 change gears.

The thread picking assembly. The label ink/paint is unreadable like they all are because it was printed with disappearing ink. :)

Still have the aluminum headstock covers/shielding and all the stamped sheet metal covers.

thanks Doug

Well I am still getting inquiries from this ad.
I still have lots of gears, shafts, shift forks, handles etc..

I have sold or disposed of all the castings. So no headstock, tailstock, saddle, feedbox casting, etc...I have sold many internals but I have many of the internal gears and parts.

Private message your needs.
