Quick change tool post
Good day, I have a 13”-5’ south bend lathe from the 1950’s… I’m using the original lantern style tool post but am wanting a quick change tool post to replace the lantern style… my father (he is a retired machinist from Cincinnati Milicron/then GE) gave me a very nice industrial made quick change post but it is too big, a 1/2” tool has no issues to center, it’s just to big to fit into compound, it’s (5”/5”) … would anyone have need of this in exchange for one that will fit and perform properly on my south bend lathe? I can text/email pics of what I have with dimensions and can outright sell for ???
