Rebuilt Fadal spindle 0336-r

Never used. Unwrapped for the pics. Must be a 10K as all the machines in the shop were 10K. All the white specs are from wiping the oil off with our white shop rags.$2500 PP/shipped US only.

What shop did the rebuild? How long has it been sitting for? Is it grease packed or oil mist? Locking drawbar or non-locking? Balanced or just new bearings? I would suggest you try to come up with a lot more information for such a critical component, guessing at the RPM doesn't work well in your favor.

It LOOKS like the taper was possibly sanded or polished a little, and that it is setup for coolant though, but unless I was able to see it first hand I wouldn't take the chance. The shop that did the rebuild is the most important part as the reputation of the rebuilder is reflective of the quality. Also, one last thing to consider, you are asking 2500.00 shipped where as a rebuilt spindle from ITS is only 2900.00. I don't think the chances of someone taking that gamble over $400.00 is likely. I am interested, just not at that price.

SShep, I understand your concerns, Unfortunately I have no info on this spindle except what was written on the wrapping. It was on a pallet of misc machine parts from the Spirit Aerosystems auction in OK. I does look as good if not better than other spindles we've sent out for rebuild. I'd take offers. New info on this spindle. It was rebuilt by ITS. It is a 10K, grease pack bearings and locking draw bar.
