Thanks for the bump. I also have the exact master holder for the machine you mentioned. I think my B&S 2A is a twin to the one you had. The Holder is a B&S 40-30-1-1/2"-1. That is #40 Taper to #30 Taper. I will gladly substitute this for the one with the #4 Morse and same lot of tooling.

Here are some pics of the same set with the B&S master holder having the #40 taper instead of the Devlieg with the #4 morse taper. The B&S unit does not have a key but the tool holders are interchangeable. PM me if your interested in individual pieces. Yes both masters have been sold. I have a couple of odd holders left. By odd I mean they are No 30 to B&S 5 or 7. I have 3 of the Brown and Sharpe No. 35's and 2 of the No. 37's. Nice condition but having the B&S tapers not many are using that type shanks these days.
