This is the optional oversize (7.5" max capacity) steady rest for a Hydrashift lathe with 17 1/8" swing over the bed. Depending on the year of the machine, it could be marked either 15" or 17"... at some point Cincinnati renamed/rated their lathes from the swing over the carriage to the swing over the bed. Older 15" and later 17" lathes both swing 17 1/8" over the bed... later 15" lathes do not. Check your center height.
It's in good shape... missing one adjustment bolt, all three fingers, and the bed clamp bolt.
How about $200 plus shipping. It may fit in a couple flat rate boxes if I disassemble it, but I'll have to confirm that. If that doesn't work, we get pretty good UPS discounts.
