If I wasn't in the opposite corner of the state ...
I'd like to watch someone scrape just to see it done. Of course that would lead to more tool hoarding, I'm sure.

Do you have anything like that?

If Andrew doesn't take the MT5 test bar I'll stand in line for it.

I sent Andrew a message but haven't heard back. Will keep you posted. I told him $75 plus shipping.

The small end is 1.630", large end is 1.744", and the length is shorter than it should be at 2.200". A normal MT#5 taper is 1.475" small end, 1.748" large end, and 5.19" long with .6315 taper per foot. I think this is a MT#5 but the taper is just shorter than normal. The test bar diameter is 1.250" and over all length is 10-1/2". Photos attached.

Interesting, but should be fine for a test bar. There won't be THAT much torque on it, at least the way I expected to use it.

Please give Andrew whatever time you deem reasonable to respond. I don't want him to feel abused.

    Hi Daryl,
I would be interested in the Herman plate tester, Squareness tester and maybe the magnetic sine plate and micrometer level. Have sent you a PM re this.

    Cheers

Awesome stuff, wish I could afford it all atm, I'd certainly be breaking my rule on 4 hour per direction road trips.

I did send a PM about the other MT4 test bar, assuming you're willing to ship it, I want it (assuming shipping is reasonable).

Thanks for passing this stuff along at great prices.

    I hear that!
Hate seeing my tools being neglected, might have to add to your list once it gets thinned out.
Good luck with your sale and enjoy the "more retired".

The link to the craigslist ad has been flagged, probably by one of the many scammers that didn't like my colorful reply to his message. I will post a link that goes to anything I have on CL. If you see something make an offer. I do ship and take PP, cash, money order, barter, or whatever.

Yesterday was crazy with 55 pound boxes of tools being sent all over the world. My retired life got pretty crazy after Welderboyjk posted the link to my CL ad. Thank you to everyone that bought stuff, I hope you enjoy them and let me know if there is a problem.

There will always be something coming off my scraping bench. Once it's scraped it's no use to me, lol.

Kenny, I retired from a company in Dayton, but the Michigan branch.

D, If one of those prisms is a better fit than any of the others with regard to size, length, angle, etc... for use on finishing up my 10EE, let me know and I'll purchase it. As in, using your vast experience ( and talent ) pick the one that you would use on a 10EE saddle and sell me that one. I'll shoot you an e* to get the address for payment.

PM members, feel free to make offers on anything, plus shipping. Thanks

    Daryl
That VTM1200YB didn’t happen to be in California did it? It took three people nearly a week to level ours, but that seemed to be partly due to a terrible foundation.

That wasn't me, I am in Michgan. I had a guy watching the level for me and it was an old machine. The guys at that shop nicknamed me the honeybadger after that. I sent you a PM, thanks. Daryl

Hey ZK, I just noticed this morning that I missed a bunch of posts. I've been making a lot of mistakes and screwing up a lot in the last few days. Not like me, but oh well.

Send me what angle and length you need and I will pick one for you and touch it up. I wasn't ignoring you.

That sounds good to me Todd, any weekend will work, just give me a shout. I will check how far you are away, I'm just north of Flint.

Sorry I missed your post, the 40 and 50 taper have sold, and I believe all of the test bars have been sold.
