Hi all, I'm moving away from stainless work except for 316 and PH grades. I have over 1K lbs of mostly 304, but some 303 bars and plate that I'm selling for $1.70/lb, over 100 lbs $1.40/lb.
About 500 lbs is in round 304 and square/rectangular/hex 303, with the rest (mostly) 304 in plate and tube. A few pieces have holes, they'll be $1/lb.
Smaller pieces can be combined into USPS flat rate boxes (max 70 lbs), with extra padding and heavy tape to resist breakout in transit. Everything can be viewed in person to pick and choose what you'd like, just email or pm to set up a time if you're local. I can do some measuring and picking, but will not cut stock, please take as-sized. A large order could be boxed and shipped by freight at cost of shipping materials/transit. Please be an established PM'er if ordering a large amount. No Aland Islanders...
Caveat- some stock is unmarked, and there is a possibility that something I think is 304 is 303 and vice versa. I'm going by the typically darker color of 303 stock, with a "scrape test" by sharp Exacto blade to confirm chip forming tendency. Also, as older stock there are the usual small dings and scrapes, nothing major but allow for finish cuts when surfaces matter.
Larger rods listed below, plate and tube please check the pics for an idea of what's available. For reference, the large 304 round to the right is 8" OD x 5.75", the big 304 plates are 1.5" x 10"+ Sq. McMaster's price on a 1.5" x 6" x 6" plate works out to ~$10.34/lb.
