I need some dove tail cutters to undercut some transmission gears which are hardened steel. I have searched online and cant find much in the way of dove tail bits for metal, a lot for wood and even the ones for metal seem to be 45 or 60 degree as a standard size. I need a small diameter like 3/8", and I think I want a 5 degree undercut. Does anyone have anything like this for sale?

Try tapered endmill. And if really hard expect short cutter life.
i searched for "tapered" and it didnt show any dove tails.
