Your provider may have rejected PM's Message Submission Agent (outbound mail server) off flawed PTR RR credentials.
They used to have very strict - and proper - SMTP protocol enforcement rules.. back in my era .. when they.. and I .. were still running Bernstein's "Q-Mail" on FreeBSD.. before Microsoft bought them.. and notoriously had to install SIX WinServers for every ONE FreeBSD server they wanted to replace!
