Four Morse taper #5 drill bits. 2 are 1-5/8", 1 is 1-17/32", and one is 1-3/4". 3 look like new old stock, the 1-17/32 might have had some use, but it's ready to drill. 3 are made in England and the 1-17/32 is USA.

$100 plus shipping for all 4

Last week I was at the Carlisle car show and one of the flea market sellers had a 1 and 1/8 inch morse #2 brand new drill bit I bought for $3. I got a chuckle when he told me I could take off the shank with a cutting wheel and use it in a regular drill press.

The market for large taper drills is unusual in that there is very low supply and very low demand. No standard way to price them. That said, I top out at $20 and that's only in person so I can inspect everything.

I'd go $80 shipped. They'd probably fit in a board game box if it was reinforced a little and taped well.

Watching these sizes of drill bits selling on STM Surplus on eBay, prices are not out of line. Of course, you get people bidding on this stuff that have no clue what a surplus price is for stuff like this. No, I am not interested, my days of drilling big holes with big drill bits is way behind me from past lives.
