I have one or my model 40. Why not make one?
I considered it, I also considered that a servo drive might be kind of cool, but I'm in no rush.
I'm sufficiently backed-up that just installing one that I took out of a box I can afford the time for, making something not so much.
I'd just as soon have an original just to complete the machine, though I do remember the interior surface quality of the holes did improve significantly when I used the downfeed.
