Hello,
I have an older Okuma lathe that needs a new starter coil. I would take the complete starter too.
Fuji P/N RC 3631-4 on the starter and coil.
The coil also has number B 59608 and a 1 after that.
Hope someone out there can help or point me to a source.
Thanks and have a good one.

Is this a reversing relay , din rail mount, amperage? Picture ? because it bloody awful friging cold out there so I am not inclined to go on a goose chase with out and ideal what a B 59608 .
all that aside you may be able to use a Sqaure D or Cutler Hammer or what ever brand that will turn thing on or off or what ever Remote mount it if it is to big . The key is solve it you can if you want to .

Try this guy : MCC Electrical supply, 805 642 1507, Ernie. No guarantees obviously, but he has helped me out before several times in sourcing older or obsolete control equipment, Jim

Check E-bay also, quite often obsolete motor control items show up there in decent shape. A couple years ago I bought a half dozen new in the box Furnas contactors and Furnas had been out of business for 20 years.

Thanks for the quick replies.
This is used as a “soft start” contactor, there are 4 identical in the panel.
One for forward, one for reverse, one for soft start Y configuration, and the last “run” in delta configuration.
I will try calling the number jmm03, thanks.
Went to eBay first and then checked all the Google listings. There is one out there but they want a bunch and probably my first child too. Thanks to all and have a great day.
Sorry about the picture orientation, tried to manage the attachments but couldn’t delete, still a rookie here.

Ken, that “B 59608”is on the coil/ electromagnet.
The motor draws 30 amps-lock rotor, 220 V.
I have some A-B starters that we pulled out of machines , just trying to keep from having to do a bunch of alterations.
Again, thanks.5BAF6EFC-9D5C-4AE8-879F-057F7028C80D.jpg

Hello,
No luck on finding a coil or a reasonable starter, had the original coil re-wound for $240.00.
Thans to those that replied.
