Hi folk

Desparately trying to find an imperial Horizontal Milling Arbor for 1 inch cutters.

Ideally an SK40 (Deckel) taper but happy with BT40 / CAT40

Good money awaits

Thank you for your reply, I am aware that Franz has them but ideally I want the "normal" lenght not the "Long" version.

As a last resort I'll get this so nothing else come up.

There must be lots of "normal" ones sitting in cupboards somewhere

Hello. I was wondering if you could make one using a Cat 40 1" end mill holder, and a length of 1" stock just thread the end for an arbor nut. Forgive me if this is a bad idea, I've never owned a mill like yours.

would nmtb 40 work? i have an nmtb 50 machine that came with a number of nmtb 40 arbors and a taper adapter. I've been meaning to sell off the 40s and replace with 50s so i can eliminate the adapter.

You could contact FPS in Germany, they manufactured a variety of these for me recently.

Sorry John! I did find one! 1" shank right at 15-1/2" long from the flange. Marked HS-41B14-3 POLAND
