If someone does have an extra, they might not know what it is.
Try posting the dimensions of your lathes bed ways that the steady clamps to and any pictures of one (from sales literature for example). You might not find an "original" Sidney, but if it's the right size and it fits....

My lathe (20x120) was missing the steady rest too. Fortunately I was able to rob one off another lathe that was headed to scrap. It didn’t fit, so I cut the base off and made a new one from an old cast iron tractor weight to adapt it. I’ll try to get some pictures of it tomorrow

Looks good to me - I like the design
ODD that it is nothing like their older versions - like in the TRITROL (December 1932) brochure - which look identical to Monarch as on my '46 CW16
