Go over to OWWM and there are 4 pieces of literature that relates to the S&M shapers. Very informative.

Interesting...I too had a 16" Smith & Mills that was minus a table support. I found one from another shaper that 'almost' fit mine. I fussed with it, and unless put under a microscope, one could not tell it wasn't a stock item. Good luck in your search. The picture of course shows the machine before I found the table support.
