WTS/WTT: Heidenhain DRO scales

I have a few Heidenhain scales and parts that won't work on my current projects. They have some minor issues, but work fine when plugged into a display. I need some Acu-rite SENC 150 scales of various sizes, so if you have some you want to trade, I'd be game. They all have the round Heidenhain connectors.

Scale #1 is an LS 704, 720mm (aprox. 28" travel). has a rubber covered cable. It's older and the seal is a little deformed in places but otherwise is a good scale.

Scale #2 is an LS 403, 720mm. The reader head is missing it's cover plate (note exposed circuit board). It would't be hard to make one out of a piece of 1/8" plastic. It has an armored cable with a plastic covering that's fallen off in places, but the metal part is still in good shape. I had this scale on a tool-room lathe a few years back and it worked fine.

(more pieces to come)

I'm not sure what these pieces would be worth as I've seen pricing all over the place. Ideally I'd like to trade, but if you want to put a price on them, I could go for that too. All scales would be shipping out of Conroe TX 77301 (north Houston).

The Acu-rite scales I'm looking for I posted about in this thread:

- 8" travel (14" overall)558115-08 5um (lathe application)
- 12" travel (18" overall)558115-12 5um (mill application)
- 12" travel (18" overall)558115-12 2um (jig bore application)
- 18" travel (24" overall)558115-12 2um (jig bore application)
- 20" travel (26" overall)558115-20 5um (mill application)
- 26" travel (32" overall)558115-26 5um (mill application)
- 60" travel (68" overall)558115-60 5um (lathe application)

I'll also add that I'm looking for a 110" travel (116" overall) 558125-92 5um, if there's a good used one floating around. I'd like to stick to Acu-rite, but would consider other makes with equivalent travel too, provided I can get a working display and matching 8" travel scale for the kit (going on a long lathe)

Scale #3 LS 703, 920mm (aprox. 33" travel). Cable is a bit shorter than others, but otherwise it works fine.

Also have a EXE 610C signal converter box. I have no reason to doubt it's functionality, but I don't have the pieces to test it, so we'll call it "as-is."

Also have three EXE 610B signal converter boxes mounted on a panel together. Same story as the other one, no way to test them so they're as-is.

Are you still looking for some Acu-Rite scales ? I'm a little late to the party but I have some extra scales and displays that I would sell, all new in the box.

Would any of those work with an Anilam Mini-Wizard with .0002” on the readout? I need one with 8” of travel for my lathe.

All Heidenhain scales are now sold. Still have the four signal boxes available.

I also have a Heidenhain VRZ 710 2 axis (X and Y) display box available, for parts only. The digital readout strips inside broke in shipping likely from a hearty drop, and the DRO repair shop I sent it to said they couldn't get new ones for it. I'll get some pictures, but I'd take $20 OBO if someone wants it.
