Danfoss VFD on bridgeport

Hi everyone,

A while ago I bought a 1HP step pulley Bridgeport that already had a Danfoss FC-051 VFD hooked up. I have problems with to motor stalling out on relatively light work and its starting to get to me.
The VFD is always at the top of its frequency and I only change speed at the pulleys, Ive gone into the menu and messed with torque settings with no change at all. I cant take a .050 cut in aluminum without running the power feed painfully slow to stop it from stalling.

Does anyone have experience with these units and if there are any setting or changes that can eliminate this problem?

Thanks
Paul

Drives that are run in volts/hz mode have low torque at lower speeds. You have much better torque performance at low speeds if the drive is run in sensorless vector mode.

Looks like parameter 1-01 sets volts/hertz or vector mode. I assume VVC is vector mode for danfoss.

Check that parameter. 0 is volts per hertz mode and 1 is VVC.
