I have a Anderson RPC designed for a 7.5 hp idler. Would it be a problem if I ran this with a 3hp idler instead?

Should START the bugger really fast, won't be as well balanced as a 7.5, unless.. you migrate the "run/balance" caps out of the "box" and size them for a tad less than half the idler they expected.
Might not bother if a larger idler is coming soon?
"Per-idler" caps work well with multi-idler rigs, each one "on line" contributing caps appropriate to its own capacity. Or not involved at all. Rather than sharing but ONE value-set in the box.
Otherwise, it should JFW, even if not optimally.
RPC can work with NO caps, after all, and the "start" cap is only even active at all for a very short time.

I have a spare 3hp and 7.5hp motors. I no longer need a large RPC and I was considering running a smaller setup for space and power savings.
