Sorry I am a Newbie, don't even know if i am in the right category.I whant to fit a DRO to my Colchester Student 1800. The Z travel shouldn't be a problem but on the cross slide there is not enough space between the saddle shoulder and the cross slide table. A friend /expert suggested to me to mill off a few mm of the saddle shoulders which allow me then to fit a slimline scale.Im not sure, you Guys do this every day?
