    Default Inverter, Motors

I'm cleaning out a neighbors machine shop, he is retiring being close to 80 years old.

There are two motors 3 hp and 5 hp (new) and one inverter(used).
I have no clue what they are worth. Who can give me some orientation.

    Here some pics:

On a good day the motors are probably worth $100 to $200, the phase a matic $300 to $500.

I have a different thought - the motors are single phase 3HP and 5HP motors - for someone with a compressor or lathe that wants to swap from 3-phase to single phase - these are good choices and spendy to buy new. As such, they are worth more than $100 - $200 to someone in this situation.

Agreed on the $300 - $500 price on the phase-a-matic

    Thanks for the input.

    I'll advertise them somewhere.
