Guys,

I bought this Italian press at auction (online) in Surrey, BC.

There is no name plate information.
The motor data is 380wye/220delta 50 Hertz.

From my reading 60 Hertz is standard in Canada.
In the control cabinet there's a small tformer.

From the attached pictures can guys interpret how this is wired?
I have had no luck in learning how the shop was wired in Canada. The owner is overseas on holiday.

I'm not sure if this tformer is stepping down the 480 to run the press near the 380 nameplate voltage.

Thanks,

Tom

Many such coils have the voltage they need printed on them in plain sight - which will be what the transformer is putting out currently

The control transformer is wired for 480V input, and 120V output for the controls.

The motor is likely wired for 380V input, but powered at 480V 3Φ 60Hz.

Motor will run fine at 480V 60Hz, but run at 20% faster than rated speed for 50Hz.
