    Default PAM-300 problem

Hi, I have a PAM-300 phase-a-matic phase converter on my millrite milling machine. 1hp motor 3.9amps.
Today when I started machine it had a hard time starting and when it did, red light stayed on and power resistor started glowing orange. Tried several more quick times but just wont turn motor. Is there a part I can replace without buying a new unit?

    Thanks, Joe

Probably just a bad capacitor, if still under warranty call phase a matic, they might even have a trouble shooting list on the website.

Fee, Fii, Foo, Fum. I smell the burnt resistor migrating into a new value. Check if the resistor is still the same value. And don't cook it again.
