i recently purchased a used phasemaster 15hp.
i removed top panel to clean out and could see that the start capacitor bank(i think) had been disconnected
should i reconnect or leave them
the rpc does work
they are clearly marked as you can see in the photos

Should at least still have schematics for yah, so yah know what is start and what is run/balance.

Prolly tell yah what to test to see if the caps are overdue for replacement as well.

All that whether it is obsolete or a current item.
