After wiring in my 10 hp rotary converter I wired in my 5 hp lathe. When I energized the system I had a short and an open breaker ? After doing a wiring check the only thing I could come up with is the idler motor is in Delta and the lathe motor is a 12 lead motor that appears can be wired either in Delta or Y configuration. With my lack of knowledge in this subject does the lathe motor need to be wired in Delta to match the idler motor and can this cause my short. Thanks for the help
