I've been trying to get my Bridgeport milling machine running using a Teco L510 VFD For weeks now And can't seem to get it to do anything but spin at the lowest possible rate of about two or three RPMs a minute.. There are so many various parameters and I haven't a clue on what they mean.. i've watched all the YouTube videos regarding programming this unit and they all mostly just give instructions on how to actually input the various settings but nothing about what setting is for what purpose.. I realize that all of them don't have to be set as there are a lot for extra specialty functions I just want to be able to transform my 220 single phase input power into 223 phase output and get this motor going... to look at this manual and all the various different settings you would think that you would have to be an electrical engineer to understand with all this means ... I don't consider myself to be a stupid person but I have to admit I am lost ,,,Everything is hooked up properly there's no problem there,,my three Input wires going to L1 and L3 with the ground and my four output wires coming from the motor into T1 T2 T3 and again the ground.. A few people have told me what I should set a few of these parameters to but obviously something is missing or programmed improperly.. I have another Teco L 510 but I want to use for my South Bend Lathe But I don't want to completely uninstall this one I've already got up there all wired up and put another unit up there and try that one without Trying To get this right first thinking that this one might be defective,,, I just have the standard 1 hp three phase motor on my J head,, And Thinking that I've accidentally punch something in wrong that might be keeping this from happening I've searched cover to cover time and time again looking in the manual for a way to reset this unit back to factory and no where can I find that either.. I tried calling Westinghouse and nobody's answering,, i've called five various electric motor repair shops and unbelievably nobody over there has a clue regarding VFD's.. I know there are thousands of these things out there and the guys that have programmed them without a problem.. please is there anyone out there that can assist me in this before I lose my mind.. it would be greatly appreciated.. thank you.. joseph.
