transformer - 220/3 to 380/3 60hz to run 360/3 50hz ?

i've posted a bit about a euro machine i'm powering . the lathe motor is
8.5 KW ,50hz, so does the 50 cycle increase the current draw? or will it
just use what it needs. and what would be the duty margin? 10-12-15 kw?
i'm new to non- standard power- i've 3ph 220 for years.

i'm not sure , so i don't need a fire!

Apart from any change due to increased mechanical load from the speed change (negligible), the motor will just take what it needs. 10kVA is perfectly adequate for an 8.5kW motor.

European machine ??? 360volt 3phases ????
Look carefully Probably 380 volts 3ph

A better choise would be to use a 415volts-3ph transformer for tha 50 Hz motor to run on 60Hz
That 380volts 50hz motor is physiccaly the same as a 415Volts 60 Hz motor
