For the most part, I got my Hitachi VFD configured to run the factory General Numeric (Fanuc) spindle motor thanks to the help of the people here.
The Tree has a VR of 1/2 which I guess is normal from what I've seen on the internet.
So, running 200Hz puts the motor speed pretty darn close to 6000rpms but spindle at half. When these mills were spec'd to say 6000rpms, I thought that was spindle speed? Or am I missing something on how these machines were configured? I've seen the same J325's online with the same pulley setup.
Wondering if I just need to match the pulleys 1:1? I intend to do mostly aluminum anyways.
