What is the highest HZ VFD on the market?

Hello, I found a Delexi VFD with 3200 hz to be the highest yet,

Since I need even more HZ to achieve my Rpm,

Does anyone know VFDs with higher Frequencies? Any tip even for in the area of 3000 HZ VFDs would be helpful

Unless you can prove you aren’t building an uranium centrifuge, or exporting the vfd, you will never possess one over 600 HZ.

FAQ: How does EU Regulation 428/2009 apply to AC drives?

Applies to the US as well under an order from the Dept. of Defense and Dept. of Commerce.

All that said, why do you need over 3000Hz? What motor did you find that is designed to operate that fast?

I cannot really see the point of this restriction, since a 2.4kW 20kHz class D amplifier is only £500.

Ok, only 2.4 kW and only 97V rms, but still well within the range they are worried about.

I have some KEB vfd's that data tag says 1600 hz, post above has me wondering if they will actually do that, and it would take a special motor to handle that.

There is always a McGyver way to create a waveform. I suspect a Reeves drive and a serious transformer bank would be a good start.

You know, like the old buzzy fence chargers, but a fence charger doesn’t get a Delta Force response to your cave.

3000Hz on a 2 pole motor will result in 180,000RPM motor. The centripetal force on anything attached to that shaft will be enormous!

about right for a dentist's drill or the starter for a model gas turbine.

Yeah, I also need one of those so I can use a 30 pole motor to pony start my RPC.
