Default Anyone here have an easy way to set up the turret stops on a 1-A?

    Hey guys,

I am trying to figure out how to set the stops on our 1A turret lathe. the Stops on the saddle are a no brainier. If someone has some pictures or an instruction manual they could snap a pic of I would be eternally grateful.

The ones on the turret I would like to learn how to setup. Is it efficient to set up stops for the turret for say 10-12 parts?

Currently I am only using one station. I have a dial indicator set up on the saddle so as the saddle comes to its stop I just wait for the turret to catch up and disengauge when my dial comes around to .050.

Is yours the type of W&S that has a ''window'' to the right of the turret - that looks down on to the stop bar and it's adjustable blocks?

    Yes it is.

To be honest I got a rather shaken reply from the actual owner on how to set it up and he made it sound like it was a long process.

To my understanding the stops rotate 90 deg from center for the station being run. I am not 100% sure how to remove the blocks.
