Default Need help with W/S #3 Turret Lathe

    I bought a W/S #3 Turret Lathe universal ram type M-4630
I powered it on and noticed it has no oil pressure and no oil flow through the flow window. The spindle will not spin at any speed or in any direction.
Any help steering me in the right direction would be very appreciated!

I am assuming a 3- phase motor. Try reversing two of the leads to get the motor to turn in the opposite direction.

Anybody know how much an M-4630 weighs ?
Haven't been able to find an official weight online.
Various sources report anywhere from 3500 to 6500 pounds.

Is that a square head? I have a lever head #3, I estimate it at around 3500, a 5K forklift handles it easily. I'd think a square head machine could be as much as 1000 lbs more.

According to the service manual 5,700 (without tooling)
My pickup truck was not happy pulling this lathe!
