    We have 2 - 5A and 4 - 4A turret lathes with CST.
The newest is 1983. What are we going to replace these with? There does not seem to be anything out there comparable.

We have the same problem in Texas in the oilfield service companys. Some companys, especially those with the very long bed machines have had them rebuilt but with mixed success. When I was working I finished the rebuild of a few. They won't last as long after rebuild, the problem will be back.

You might try Gahr Machine. Everything I've seen from them has been O.K.

To reach them, ask for Gregg at 216-531-0053

    Good Luck!

Gahr Machine is the place. Lucky for me it's local.
